Wool

Our Merino ewes are carefully selected from the renowned Riverina region of New South Wales. Typical of that leading Merino growing region, our ewes grow bright, fine-medium wool with high strength and less than 1% vegetable matter content. Thanks to our clean, green pastures our ewes yield long lines of quality wool that is highly sought after.

At Chatsworth, we produce over 200 bales of wool annually. This consists of medium-fine Merino wool averaging 19 micron and broader XB wool from 1st X Merino wool breeders. This diverse wool offering allows us to cater to a wide range of buyers, meeting market demands for premium quality wool.
